## MBO Training Position (BBL Level 2) **Maintenance Painter** – Training to Become a **Painter** in **Zoetermeer**

 **079-Schilderwerken** offers a professional MBO training position (BBL Level 2) for a motivated trainee who wants to learn the painting trade and develop into a skilled **painter**. You will combine vocational training with practical experience and work under the guidance of experienced professionals on painting and maintenance projects for private and commercial clients in **Zoetermeer** and the surrounding area.

 
### Job Description

 As an **MBO Level 2 trainee painter**, you will work under supervision on various painting and maintenance activities. Step by step, you will learn how to properly prepare, carry out and neatly finish painting work. You will gain practical experience in preparing and repairing surfaces, sanding, filling, priming, painting and applying various paint and finishing coats.

 During the training, you will develop the basic knowledge and practical skills needed to become a skilled and independent painter. You will learn to work with different materials and tools and to work safely, neatly and in accordance with applicable quality and workmanship standards.

- You are following or starting a suitable **MBO Level 2 painting course** through the BBL system

- A professional and customer-oriented attitude towards clients and colleagues
- In possession of a **VCA Basic Safety Certificate** or willing to obtain one
- Preferably in possession of a **driving licence (Category B)** and your own transport
