## MBO Level 3 Work-Based Learning Position **Maintenance Painter** – Qualified Painter Training in **Zoetermeer**

 **079-Schilderwerken** offers a work-based learning position at MBO Level 3 for a motivated student who wants to develop as a **qualified painter** and gain practical experience specializing in **maintenance painting**. You combine your MBO training with practical experience and work under the supervision of experienced professionals on painting and maintenance projects for private and commercial clients in **Zoetermeer** and the surrounding area.

 
### Job Description

 As an **MBO Level 3 Qualified Painter trainee**, you will work on a variety of painting and maintenance activities. Under supervision, you will learn how to prepare, carry out and finish painting work on residential and commercial properties. You will gain practical experience in preparing and repairing surfaces, sanding, priming, painting and applying finishing coats.

 During the work-based learning programme, you will develop the professional knowledge and practical skills needed to progress towards becoming an independent and skilled **maintenance painter**. You will learn to work according to professional quality, safety and finishing standards.

 
### Requirements

 
- You are currently following or are about to start an **MBO Level 3 Qualified Painter** programme through the work-based learning route
- Interest in the painting trade, particularly **maintenance painting**
- A motivated and professional attitude
- Ability to work accurately and carefully
- Willingness to work under supervision and learn new technical skills
- Good communication skills
- A professional attitude towards customers and colleagues
- Possession of a **VCA Basic** certificate or willingness to obtain one
- Preferably in possession of a **driving licence B** and own transport
- Living in **Zoetermeer** or the immediate surrounding area
